First of all, thanks for the comment. Down-votes don't add too much to the conversation. I agree with you, but I remember reading that argument backing the CLA (defense in court, to increase the value of the company in case they want t

"assigning Canonical the ability to re-license the code outside of the GPL" I think is more about ownership and IP than re-licensing. Copyright assignment adds value to Canonical as company, eg in case it is acquired.

Oh, yes... I did. The post you linked says it is not reliable and it shouldn't be trusted as not all browsers support it. I was asking in case you had anything to add. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

Ubuntu Trusty's patched version 4.3 doesn't seem to be affected by this, but Precise version still is (4.2; same one as in Debian). Is this new exploit version dependent?

I don't know if it is related, but there used to be a limit in shell parameters expansion in exec, that's why xargs was so handy when "rm *.txt" wasn't possible. That was changed some years ago: https://l

I was thinking almost the same, but to be fair that benchmark is useful to see how different operations compare (eg, delete is 29 times slower than read).

I like the Blackwell series. The writing is excellent and the puzzles are mostly good (I recall only a couple of  moments). The first game was released in 2006 and the last April 2014, so you can see the evolution of Wadjet Eye Ga
