I don't know the ad space particularly well, but the fact that Adweek named the Martin Agency its Agency of the Year for 2020 and 2021 suggests that it's not especially far removed from a "traditional ad agency", no?

Only within the last year have Sony, Nikon, and Canon released their flagship mirrorless cameras (the Alpha 1, Z9, and R3 respectively, though the R3 might be semi-flagship if R1 becomes a thing). From what I gather, before this generation

I really enjoy doing these problems in Elixir, but the fact that the default collection type is a linked list makes certain problems difficult. However, Erlang does have a fifo queue (a doubly linked list), which can be helpful and let'

100% agree on the braising in the oven vs. crockpot. A crockpot gives you 2 or 3 temp settings, where an oven can give you dozens or hundreds.

I haven't found the battery life to be an issue. Part of that is how quick the Apple Watch is to charge. I throw it on the charger when I wake up, and it's charged by the time I get out of the shower.

For the most part, this is correct. One exception is "tortious interference with a contract". Let's say I work full-time for Company A, and in my employment agreement, I agree not to do any work on the side. Then let's s

ULA might be inefficient and seems likely to struggle to compete with SpaceX, but Destin Sandlin's (Smarter Every Day) tour of their factory is pretty freakin sweet.

Typically string key maps should exist only at the edges of your system, but they are still often necessary when you're interacting with the outside world. Params in Phoenix come in as a string key map because the atom table does not g

Brew consistently upgrades things that shouldn't need to be upgraded. I've spent more hours than I care to count fixing broken Postgres installations which regularly get major version bumps as a result of a completely unrelated in

To those who have not seen the Grant Achatz profile in the Netflix series Chef’s Table (S02E01), I highly recommend it. One of my favorite episodes in the whole series. Excellent cinematography and storytelling. Obvious not the only reason

This totally misses the main point: Apple could absolutely have brought this up within a reasonable amount of time. The issue here is reliance. Granting app store approval to an app encourages the company to build around the app and around

It's definitely feasible to add custom color names (and other properties). I have brand specific color names in an app I'm working on right now. There's a theme object in tailwind.config.js that deep merges with the defaults.

Hard disagree. The bit where they're machining the hilt was definitely worth my time. The glass blowing nozzle also super cool. I'm not likely to pay for the rest of it, but I definitely don't feel like my time was wasted.
