This is what always gets me about it. I get being to lazy to cook and to drunk or busy to drive or whatever. But there are actually tons of pretty good frozen prepared meals these days. If you're lazy and this happens to you all the ti

I spin up a whole linux VM with a passed through nvidia GPU for these and I still spend the majority of the time fighting the python and figuring out the missing steps in the setup instructions. Glad for this thread though since it looks li

My understanding is most ransoms are already paid in bitcoin. (or some other public ledger coin?) Privacy coins would probably be preferable for criminals to receive but they aren't as easy to purchase as bitcoin which I'd imagine

China seemed to take chips from obsolete motherboards and turn them into boards to allow reuse of old Xeons, at least for awhile there. I can't imagine those chipsets were still being made so I assume that is what was happening. A lot

Sadly, this seems to be the general purpose of telemetry. If the gathered statistics can be contorted to justify doing something you wanted to do anyway, then telemetry will be used for just that. If it says something else, just ignore it a

It is particularly bizarre to me that the tab bar is horizontal on browsers. We switched to wide screen monitors close to 20 years ago, then stubbornly continued to waste vertical real estate for UI elements. Then webpages all went hard on

I use tree style tabs and typically have anywhere from 20 to hundreds of tabs open. My workflow is basically opening anything I find interesting for further review which naturally opens in a tree so the main task grouped together. I use the

Even in the US you run the risk of having your hardware soft bricked by having your linked Meta account banned for some vague infraction which is probably just cover for not exposing yourself sufficiently to Meta.

Nice idea in theory. In practice, apps imply ongoing OTA connectivity, which means the truck will be updated to show ads or at the very least collect and sell all my driving information to any dirtbag that can rub two nickels together. Conn

I believe it was GoogleAI in search but it was worse than that. Some asked it if Angelina Jolie was in heat. The tone started kind of insulting like the user was a sexist idiot for thinking human women go into heat like animals, then went b

And why would some one continue to use it if all it does is show ads? You have to put some cheese on a rattrap if you want the rat to stick his head in it.
