Two-way binding does exist, just not in the same problematic way it existed in Vue 1. It was changed to just be syntactic sugar for the event handler approach - https://vuejs.org/v2/guide/forms.html .

A few choice websites have definitely colored my view of React (e.g. Airbnb, multi-second delay clicking onto a form text field on current generation Android and iPhone? I hope they see some of the techniques in this article). It's har

For me, it is because I have shared folders for credential management for various jobs and it would be way too hard to get everyone to migrate. In fact, I am not aware of any other solution that matches LastPass functionality. I have change

Complaining about OAEP when RSA-OAEP is perfectly safe seems needlessly straw-grasping, the other complaints (should) stand perfectly well on their own. I've used JWT in three languages and the API has always sucked, really badly. I a

.2 cores is plenty. A static website (properly served) wont't even register on CPU until you are doing traffic >100mbit. A CRUD app in language that doesn't smash the CPU (i.e. closer to Go net/http than WordPress) would p

Maybe slightly unrelated but what do people use for browser driven stress/load tests? I have been using PhantomJS + phantomherd[1], but boy, PhantomJS sure takes a lot of CPU. -- 1. https://github.com/nmeans/phanto

grpc clients are disgustingly fat. For that reason I am using v2 API on v3. It's a pity but I need etcd access from many projects and grpc often dwarfs the rest of the project , explodes the binary size.

I distribute commercial Go source with a Dockerfile to build the app (and rpm package) and it has been received remarkably well - better than I had imagined. YMMV.

I think this is a bit disingenuous. Do you also think that Java is multi-process? I can see the argument that an OS thread is a process but it is basically irrelevant in every way that matters in development and operations. An example - how

Cool. However, we're pretty settled on Grafana+InfluxDB and I'm not sure I have any real reason to deploy Chronograf. We'll see though.

If you have absolute URLs ( http://..../foo.jpg ) saved in documents or a database or something like that, you would need to rewrite them to be protocol-relative or just https:// .

It seems like you can draw garbage (e.g. faces/text/swastikas) on the picture in the moments after it correctly identifies the object and before it starts the next object, and it seems to "save" it (though I am not sure

Wtf? Is this a US phenomenon? In Australia people do stick to limits, more or less. At least, speeders are judged by other drivers fairly harshly.
