They may have it rough but there is no way I would take the kind of abuse that was on the recording. Raising his voice and getting audibly angry would have likely shut down her incessant line of questioning pretty quickly. It doesn't e

I always have to stop and check which 'react' something is talking about lately every time. From my perspective it is causing confusion...and I don't think I am alone.

Thats the one thing ExtJS has going for it...a full suite of widgets that make it so any jackass can plop in a data table and move on. The problem is when you want anything outside the realm of those widgets, or actual proper program struct

My experience with ExtJS is terrible...I will actively run away from any future positions that even remotely consider it. It might have made sense 6 or 7 years ago...but these days it is mostly a pain in the ass.

This is interesting...one of the new javascript frameworks on the block (React.js, http://facebook.github.io/react/ ) has made use of a 'virtual dom' which basically does a diff and compares it to what was alr

Have you ever used ExtJS? ...I have had the displeasure of developing with it at a large financial institution...it is madness...everything is a JSON object and what ends up happening is a mixing of concerns...putting logic, and layout in t

I understand your point, however that isn't quite a valid analogy in this case. The correct analogy would be: Q) Am I forbidden from writing an application using the facebook API that tints/alters the color of the website? A) Yes,

Forgive me, it has been several years since I dealt with DNS authority, however it still does not change the argument that it was not google who was 'hacked'...the title of this post is just blatantly wrong.

I don't agree at all, the system which was hacked is not in Google's control at all, even though it does depend on it for DNS SOA. Every site depends on root DNS servers to do their job right...the root for .ps was hacked...that&#

I think we might be seeing a bit of 80/20 rule playing here...as the old saying goes, the first 80% of the project takes 20% of the time, and the remaining 20% is the most arduous. If I had piles of cash in the bank, I might be less in
