I do agree with you. I'm just pointing out that both are intended as rights of a sovereign individual to protect oneself from both other individuals and government.

But note how the encryption ban comes about after the firearm ban in the country of discussion. Firearms rights (at least in the US) were intended as protection from tyrannical governments more so than even self protection. Though I acknowl

I think for me it was just the shear lack of change no matter which politician was in office. From there I started looking for why. At some point I also realized advertisements are purely bribes meant to shackle speech. Once I abandoned ad-

I wish corn/wheat weren't subsidized. Half of a typical supermarket is filled with artificially cheap grain based product. The `stick to the perimeter` mantra about how to buy healthy food is directly related to the fact that grai

Well, at the moment that hardly seems relevant since the arms governments worldwide have are SO radically powerful as to completely imbalance the relationship. Not merely physical are their weapons either.

This is why Governments shouldn't be allowed to force these sort of things. Governments can be and often are wrong. Also add to this potential influence by malicious actors.

If it were a truly free market the entire music business would have to collapse or adapt as copyright wouldn't be a thing. I personally just try to exit the whole system. I love https://freemusicarchive.org/ . I would l

While CPU power theft via malware is a real issue, it in no way prevents Monero from working well. It actually just adds more nodes to the network. And of the many forms of botnet malware, it seems one of the less harmful.

I would prefer not to consent to a possibly dangerous 'weaker' version of COVID. This idea would completely take choice away and experiment on the human populace.
