Yes and no: here is a short article about it from Brad Wardell the CEO from Stardock [0]. Vulkan/Mantle/DirectX12 allow the game developer to really take advantage of multicore CPU's. Which is why we see the most gains with t

Absolutely, nothing is really known at this point. The leaked power consumption results that we have show that a Ryzen engineering sample uses slightly less power than comparable Intel CPU's (i7 6900k). But we don't know if the le

Doesn't seem to be the case for modern games [0]. And this comes from a side which sometimes is called NvidiaBase or IntelBase. With the consoles having 8 (slow) cores, and Mantel/Vulkan and DirectX 12 emerging this will probably

Found the answer to my own question: They made it into 4.15 but since they are experimental the features are not mentioned in the release notes. [1] [1] https://forums.unrealengine.com/showthread.php?136947-4-15-R...

According to a recent video [1] some features from the new audio engine should have made it into 4.15, but I can't see them mentioned in the release notes. Didn't they make it in? [1] https://www.youtube.com/watch?

Because I really like syntax like Haskell (the type signature is much clearer especially in generic code compared to Java or Scala etc. for example), I'm curious, what is so uncomfortable about the syntax?
