While some of these may be good tips, they don't exactly sound effortless. Also does refocusing your eyes actually make you look engaged? Sometimes people I talk to appear to be doing that and it comes off a bit shady.

To clarify for people in other countries. When a petition gets 100,000 swiss signers than the governement must respond with a suggestion. The petition and suggestion then go to referendum. The decision of the people is final and government

I dont think there are any apps that use this atm but there are tons of potential uses where the alternative was getting people to give you their paypal api keys. Not the most secure thing but usually one of the only options if you were bui

Paypal will take $29.30 if someone pays you $1000 and it isnt anywhere as easy to integrate (the pro non hosted version) and use as stripe. Try and open a merchant account at any big bank and you wont get much better fees unless you are mov

I really doubt that these 350k hits were spread neatly over 12 hours.They most likely came as one giant rush. The author would have to confirm. Considering that lots of peoples blogs die because they get 10k visitors from HN. His small $15

I did some testing with a client recently (small local business with relatively high customer engagement and satisfaction) and the difference in people willing to press a like button is substantial between 0-100 but stops mattering afterwar

There is a big difference between forever and switching it off as soon as you change versions. Most people were still using 1.4 when 2 came out so leaving the documentation up for a year or something would not have been difficult.

I absolutely love cloud flare and I think they have revolutionised the way I deploy things to the Internet. Yet the fact that I can not turn off their security completely means that I have plenty of users complain about being blocked.
