I generally just use MIT and don't care about what others do with my code. But for a more commercial project I'd probably use a dual license, AGPL + commercial license. Kind of like Qt.

The current problem arises from the fact that you have to ask for the source code. So companies can retaliate (if you ask us for the source code, we terminate this other contract). The solution would be to mandate either including the sourc

What about sitting still (like you would in a cinema) but with a VR headset? Framing would be mostly solved as you wouldn't move around outside of slightly turning your head.

Lead solder is mostly ok. Arguably lead free solder has been much more damaging for the environment because of all the e-waste it created.

For people running t3.nano instances, this is a 96% increase (from $3.75/month to $7.35/month). For t4g.nano it's a 119% increase (from $3.04/month to $6.62/month)

Why? There is no way DOGE passes the Howey test. It might be the least "security" crypto of them all.

They quote sparse FP8 because it's the biggest number. The most relevant number would be FP16 (non sparse) but they don't mention that.

In the 70s and 80s there were cars everywhere, pedestrian fatalities were even higher than now. Yet kids played outside alone. So it's not that.

People are extremely risk averse nowadays. The same way children could play outside alone before, and can't now.

It says 360 degrees vision with 3 cameras. How does that work? It doesn't show anywhere where the cameras go. I don't understand how you can get 360 degrees just from a device on your windshield. I find the website so lackluster.

I guess you could add a sort of gating operation with a learnable parameter that sends the value to -inf if doesn't reach the threshold. Of course it might have some other serious repercussions.

I don't get the point. There is just no way you'll be able to run llama2 70B. And llama2 13B, although cool, is much much dumber than GPT3.5. I don't think it's useful as an ChatGPT style assistant. Maybe in the future w

It's so hypocritical, it's insane. "Yes, we train our models on a good chunk of the internet without asking permission, but don't you dare train on our models' output without our permission!" And OpenAI also ha

Llama 1 is trained on books3 which contains pirated books. That's probably why they didn't fully release it. Llama 2 no longer contains books3.
