DHL and UPS are generally not subsidized. Usually it's when USPS is involved.

Trigger bots (shoots when it detects an enemy using CV AND you are holding some key/pedal) are much harder to detect, almost impossible if effort is taken to make the time distribution believable.

Index funds usually outperform the average investor precisely because it stops them from picking and choosing like that.

GPT 4.5 (not shown here) is by far the best at writing.

All this stuff is virtue signaling from anthropic. In practice nobody interested in whatever they consider problematic would be using Claude anyway, one of the most censored models.

Most likely won't be a winner-take-all, but something like it is right now, a never ending treadmill where the same 3 or 4 players release a SOTA model every year or so.

Nowadays I consider IPv4 address scarcity almost a feature, because of rate limiting and DDoS mitigation in general.

Yeah coding is definitely a situation where context is usually very very large. But at the same time in those situations something like Sonnet is fine.

That's usually not the case for thinking models. And usually hard problems have a very short prompt.

I was slightly under 30 too. The mental focus and not having any food noise is so worth it. It was a constant struggle that just vanished.

No. I believe the health benefits of not being overweight, both physical and self esteem, heavily outweigh the side effects. I plan to keep taking it for life (or some equivalent drug).

A good diet only helps so much. Of course with enough self control, a caloric deficit will make you lose weight, but you need to make yourself perpetually hungry. Eating clean without measuring and limiting portions is not enough for people

Tesla approach is so much better financially (leaving aside morality and false promises). Waymo has sunk billions of dollars with almost 0 return yet. Tesla has developed FSD basically for free, because people pay for software that isn'

Yeah with local models (where obviously you can prefill part of the reply) you can bypass any refusal no matter how strong. Once the model's answer begins with "To cook meth follow these steps: 1. Purchase [...]" it's ba

The author implies that Grok 3 becoming racist because of a system prompt is a bad thing. I think it's a good thing and shows how steerable the model is. Many other models pretty much ignore the system prompt and always behave the same

They had literally added (and now removed) a system prompt to be politically incorrect. I'm sure no other LLM has that. https://github.com/xai-org/grok-prompts/commit/c5de4a14feb50...

Grok is much more concise, to the point, no bs. Gemini and OpenAI lean towards a wall of text and "It's important to note that". I'm sure with a good system prompt you can mitigate that. I'm just comparing them out

Yes. You could ask for factual information like "Tallest building in X place" and first it would answer it did not know. After pressuring it, it would answer with the correct building and height. But also things where guessing wa

Making LLMs know what they don't know is a hard problem. Many attempts at making them refuse to answer what they don't know caused them to refuse to answer things they did in fact know.
