Looks like Yahoo! can now refresh its entire data base 34% faster. Meaning its index will now be overall updating more often than google. (although google is still the king of indexing content on a 'rate of freshness' scale')

I think it greatly depends on the market rather or not influencer's have an impact. The average person isn't buying toothpaste becuase someone famous is, but they do drive escalades and hummers because they saw it done by "influencer's"

With this much press about TipJoy. I think they will go through a period of "false success", I would love to hear how many visits came from TechCrunch and other sources vs returning visits.

I think they are releasing something new like 'online/offline' (think Google gears) for their flash alternative silver light. The problem is having something that users must download.
