Unbridled optimism and naiveté? I certainly have much less of it now that I'm in my late 30s.

I've often wondered this this isn't part of the "foundations" portion that is mentioned in the description of the YCombinator program. Not only a PR firm as you mentioned but a couple of training sessions in PR AND ethics before launch eve

It's unfortunate when most are so mesmerized by great but incomplete magic that the magic creators are unwilling to conjure something even more magical to include safety like client-side encryption. Reworded for the downvotes: Don't punish

Hiring based on plan compared to need. Does all of this crazy funding raise anyone else's hackles? Maybe it's just that I'm not in Silicon Valley or SF. Update: Perhaps it is just the signaling of going from 65 to 400 that bothers me. I

Google recognizes this problem and is attempting to get vendors onboard with an 18 month commitment for updates( http://thisismynext.com/2011/05/10/google-promises-android-d... ) . On the other hand, the hardware vendors prefer you buy a ne

Thanks Mentat. Yup, I understand CSRF and current methods such as tokenization, double submit cookies, etc. I was trying to get an explanation from tptacek or patio11 about their statements about unprotected shells and arbitrary code. The

I've been using Feedlooks ( http://www.feedlooks.com/ ) which also a Twitter client built in. It also takes care of the "mark as read" problem when subscribed to a large number of feeds.
