I think the article is more referring to privacy of corporations. Not many poor people are setting up shell companies.

The cheapest instances are only in specific regions I think and they are ipv6 only. I’ve been happy with them as a hosting platform.

Easy to understand but hard to master. Any slip mixing training data in validation or testing data and your metrics are useless. It can be difficult to impossible to spot and give newbies false confidence in their model.

You could probably set up rate limiting with iptables/nftables as well if it’s a vps.

I think I was more disappointed by the music samples not having any transitions. Most songs have key changes and percussion turnovers.

I've hosted jekyll sites for a number of years. It's simple and gets the job done. The documentation is good, there are a lot of plugins written for it, and it's pretty configurable.

Helpful! Would you use it for future projects or recommend any others? I think I might give it a try regardless. I'm not crazy about installing millions of node dependencies like with most other frameworks.

I know this discussion has been had many times before but I'm curious about opinions on zola? I was thinking about trying to mix in some htmx for some light interactivity.

Same, mainly because I like a fairly large font size, 17pt. Makes it tough with long line codebases though...

Valve can take away software you've rightfully purchased as well. I don't know that they are the holy grail either even though they're commendable for what they've done with gaming on Linux. I bought CS GO years ago but

I created something similar for pdf diffing since I needed “visual” diffing instead of “textual” diffing. It uses Mozilla’s PDF.js library as the rendering engine. It’s amazing how much you can do in-browser. https://parepdf.com&

Async is not necessarily as useful for database connections since connection counts will generally be in the 10s and handled with a thread pool. It's pretty low overhead to just use pooling.
