COBRA is actually a terrible deal if you had a nice plan. You could pay a third to get a decent marketplace plan in most places

They will probably do both. Bubble companies have been hiring for fun and “growth” for years. According to their website they have 4900+ employees!

Bitcoin as a inflation hedge is a meme that takes 5 seconds to see has no basis in reality. During historic inflation in the US, Bitcoin the inflation protector is.. -40% against the USD in the last 6 months. At least Gold is up 4% on the 6

That’s assuming that you have significant money to put into savings. Most people live paycheck to paycheck so that will only protect 5% of their income that they can spare to put away. Ideally you could get paid in a stable currency

They’re getting a large part of the brain drain from Russia. I’m not sure if those people are planning on staying and starting businesses or looking to continue on to EU for higher salaries

If you have a house or a place to install them then something like solar panels in Turkey would be a great investment as it generates income (or at least cancels out future expenses )

I’m not sure. How will the government make the recovery short when inflation is still at 8%? They can’t QE to kick the can down the road in this environment without making inflation 10+% I wouldn’t be surprised if we just go sideways for a

Boring old legacy automakers are starting to eat their pie I bet. Self driving is their stated advantage but that’s still unknown if or when it’ll work well enough for general use. Meanwhile Ford and VW and one day Toyota will figure out ho

I don’t think Tesla needs any illusion though. Their product Sells like hotcakes. Of course the stock is still crazy valued so it’s not sustainable to keep this valuation

I don’t see how this is any worse than the “ICO” craze a few years ago. Probably 99% of those scams are now dead. Rumors about crypto’s death are always greatly exaggerated

In (most?) building this would also mean replacing the HVAC system and ducts which would take months-years and close the building down for the maintenance period. I’m really not sure what the pitch is realistically.

I got nauseous after a few hours of Half Life Alyx. Until then my test was going smoothly. I would imagine most games where you can move freely would be fairly bad for me. I even took a Dramamine to try to play some more which worked but wa

It’s no wonder it was hyped. Even I held ARKF for a little bit when I saw the +150% YoY returns and started feeling fomo. Thankfully I soon realized they had ran out of gas at the end of last year and moved to safer funds

I would mainly blame capitalism and globalization. It’s very hard to stick to your principles when you can get everything for a 10th of the price/effort from Walmart. It’s also completely impossible to be self reliant in any mid sized
