OpenRCT2 is a reimplementation of RollerCoaster Tycoon 2. Just like its cousing OpenTTD which is a reimplementation of Chris Sawyer's Transport Tycoon.

Hey.com works that way. You have to approve new senders before they can reach your inbox. And you can always revoke their permission to message you. I'd like to see that concept replicated to other email services. I don't particul

Not only that, be we also need a European payment system that's not tied to VISA / MasterCard, etc. We're currently paying a small tax to the US for each card transaction we have.

If you live in Europe you should care for the EU: not only it's the reason why there hasn't been a war for 80+ years, but if we can have a voice on the international stage it's because we are united instead of 27 small indepe

Exactly. It's my own device, I can do whatever I please with it. There shouldn't be an automated way for apps to check if my device has been blessed by the US tech giants or not.

They use a home-grown solution called FatturaPA. It was originally meant to be used for sending e-invoices to government agencies and public administrations, but it was then expanded to all businesses and made mandatory in 2019. In their de

Don't forget that Italy has mandatory e-invoicing in their own strange XML format. :(

Given how shitty it looks and behaves, I was 100% sure this was an April Fools. But after reading the serious comments here on HN, I'm not sure anymore...

In Italy, we call those no-yield-sign ones "French roundabouts" ("rotonde alla francese"). They've been super rare since the early 2000's though.

Italy, Denmark and Germany also have similar signs: brown, with a drawing (expect Italy, which has photos).

I agree. I also tried Tahoe, and reverted back to Sequoia right away. Either Apple is going to turn things around, or I'm done with Apple for good.

I agree. Tahoe is disgustingly unusable; I'm happy that Alan Dye left Apple. I hope Apple will backtrack on Liquid Glass after Tahoe. Otherwise, I'll just switch to Linux.

Me too, I highly recommend Hetzner Storage Box. It's cheap, and it works great (unlike their S3-compatible storage, which has been a huge fiasco since they launched it).
