I agree with you. The name is so confusing that if you search for "w3c" on DuckDuckGo, the first result is W3Schools, and then the official W3C website.

> acting like they have any right to tell actual browser implementors how to behave Well, I totally prefer that, than letting Google decide by themselves

But , if I can be honest, solutions such as Hotwire or Livewire are not as snappy as a SPA. I personally prefer InertiaJs [1], which is some kind of front-end router system with its state synced with the server in an "old style"

W3Schools is a horrible resource. I'd like Google to hide all of their results.

I don't trust this article. Rotation of elements in CSS doesn't cause a reflow of the page, since it's a transform property, and so it doesn't cause a re-render like the article says.

I can only imagine what you think of TailwindCSS so...

I agree. I love native Win32 apps, they're so light and quick. But nowadays everyone is using shitty solutions such as Electron.

I think he should try selling it to Google. It would nicely integrate in their suite of Docs + Sheets + My Maps.

What's left now, for Windows users? I think the only solution is Thunderbird

Which is stupid since EU law doesn't apply to them, since they don't specifically target European users

Please: let's get rid of cookie banners. Force websites not to show cookie consent banners if I already chose not to be tracked by enabling the Do Not Track (DNT) header.

In other words: why is it legal to show me annoying cookie consent banners if I already chose to send a Do Not Track header? Asking again for consent after being rejected is forbidden.

I'd love if this became a EU-wide law. If you send the DNT header, then you can't get cookie consent alerts since you already do not consent being tracked.

I don't agree with this post at all. It seems like it's been written by someone who never actually used Tailwind CSS: I had the same doubts before using it.

You can easily prevent that by choosing "Never translate Italian"

I'm Italian and I have the same problem. You just have to set the system to English (UK) and all your problems will be fixed :)

And, if I remember correctly, the whole Profile things was initially hidden in Firefox. I remember you couldn't easily switch profile without using the command line.

Some time ago, I read an interview with Tim Berners-Lee (I can't find the interview anymore, though) in which he said that if he could go back in time, he would reverse the URLs, starting from the top-level domain. Just like newsgroup
