I'd concur with that. Personal annecdotal evidence from working at a job that have bendy chairs often leaves me with a crick in my neck. If you sit like the far right picture you're going to get a forward leaning neck in any case. Further

Man cannot live by salads alone. But from a diet point of view, a lot of people aren't eating enough fruit and veg. Salads > junk food.

I disagree, great designers innovate. You build on the shoulders of those who came before, but if you're not doing something new and innovative, it's not great. The biggest example I have is Apple.

I think the author does a good job of picking out what has caused Japan to fall behind - not moving away from manufacturing, but didn't pick out the why so much. Yes the DJP is stupidly risk averse despite coming into office on the message

I agree with you that Hitler is fair game for mockery. However, I think part of the equation for the film distributors is that they may think it distracts from the gravity of the scene and of the movie as a whole. The particular scene is w

I would take a guess and suggest that part of the reason Constantin Film issued a take-down is that they think it's making light of Hitler - many Germans I know are very strongly anti-nazi (e.g. a friend of mine who at a Tokyo punk gig wou

What I "love" about the iPhone weather app is that it tells you the weather for Tuesday (yesterday) when today is Wednesday. (I live in Tokyo but I guess this would be the same for Australia as well)

I think the only way that computer software is going to get radically more secure is if software creators can be sued for negligence if they create secure software. This would mean a fairly big change in the process by which software is cre

I've had a friend with an iPhone how to cancel sending an email - she's inadvertently hit the send button presumably several times when composing an email there. Having a "sending in 10 seconds" option may well be useful in her case. In my
