In this past Friday's episode, Saks made some pretty terrifying statements about the FCC selling the VHF/UHF Frequencies. He seemed wildly unclear about how leasing that space by the FCC has worked until now and pitched it as a &q

These frameworks are cute, and I understand the desire to avoid the modern SPA JavaScript build systems, but it always seems like so much more work than just writing HTML. I swear, HTML/CSS + Flask + HTMX gets you so far these days. Th

I don't think these are the same, but as a non-web-developer who likes building web side-projects, I love pico.css. It's fantastic for forms and the light grid/container stuff. My stack these days is Flask + HTMX + Alpin.js +

Same here. Total blast from the past. Markdown has obviously replaced it. And Reddit has, for better or worse, replaced the phpBB boards of old. But man, I miss this era.

I love pico.css! It's the sweet spot for me in being quick and easy to learn but still very capable. Flask + HTMX + AlpineJS + PicoCSS is currently my "All Python and HTML SPA"

I loved Warp for it's speed, but the keybindings and lack of configuration didn't work for me. For example, it doesn't support "ctrl+x ctrl+e" which I use daily for editing long prompts in vim. I recently switched t

Reminds me of the rumor that the reason it went "Windows 7", "8", "10" and skipped "9" is because the fear of a codebase that went: if(version.StartsWith(“Windows 9”)) { /* 95 and 98 *&#x

I got to work in clojure for two years and it was one of the most useful experiences of my career. I still "think in clojure" even now writing Python, Java, and Go. I can't wait to use it professionally again someday.

Great landing page but I'm just going to point out that the code sample is curling a WIRE of $40,000 and the top entry in the "Transfers" is a WIRE for $4,000 and its driving me nuts :)

I think the Citroen Ami might get close to what you want. It’s amazingly small, underpowered, and cost efficient (for example, they don’t manufacture separate left and right doors for it, the passenger-side door just opens backwards). http
