That's not a tip. It's a "processing fee" assessed by credit card companies (a revenue stream). The 3% charged on top of a large purchase like a vehicle goes to the payment processing provider (the credit card company).

This is ridiculous. Firefox doesn't beat around the bush with telemetry and makes this clear when you install a new copy of it to your machine. It also does not require "messing around in about:config", this option is present
