Most of the music I listen to is from Bandcamp I like it because I can directly support the artists and I get to show off my collection online, while still keeping my (easily redownloadable) mp3/flac collection offline I do like Spot

Who does this affect? The attacker can always modify the page however they want anyways and the https for the js source would mean the js itself cannot be tampered with Does it help much? No. Should you use it? Yes.

It's done using a CDN. Eg CloudFlare has an IP your website is on, but also where many other websites on the same IP
