one of the things I like about the world of analog synthesizers is the celebration of schematics. I have a giant chart of synth designs framed in my living room.

so it goes: consciousness emerges from stardust in infinite permutations one class of mutation becomes homo sapiens and that class can have a bug in the code called depression other homo sapiens manufacture biology modifiers that fix those

you eat so many bugs all the time, ground up in food. this dismissive old crank attitude is ignoring simple truth. also a lot of the world happily eats bugs as a delicacy. they’re not whacky, you’re being quick to frame something you don’t

Thanks for trying it out! Modern parlance, imo.

I built an app to model this out. It forecasts your future down to the millisecond. It's super simple right now, but has a "time machine" function to see where you'll be in 5 / 10 / 30 years -- and whole life.

The writing tool Ulysses is great for me. It’s as simple as notepad, but device and cloud syncs, and supports markup etc. Anything I finish gets deleted or delegated, anything I can’t use gets posted or integrated into future writings.

For a predecessor that makes more sense but includes many of the same underpinnings, Amartya Sen's notion of a Human Development Index is a great thought exercise and tool. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Human_Devel

Bob Moog - who (basically) invented the synthesizer - was a passionate organic gardener. His belief system, in many ways, saw the two as similarly allowing humans to interface with the intelligence of the universe.

This is the key. I can't help but imagine some hyperbole of the advertisement for participants reading some absurd thing like "Are you highly confident in your spiritual strength and have free time to earn $10 / hr?"
