Isn't this kind of like arguing over which brand of hot dog has more pink slime and factory floor sweepings? They all do. Anyway, ME is likely to be a much higher value target for hackers. A compromise there would compromise millions

Morality existed for millions of years before religion. It exists because humans are a social species and we need ways to cooperate. Morality doesn't need a justification any more than objects falling downward needs a justification.

I agree that the death penalty is not to be taken lightly, but that is different from arguing that it should not be used at all. There are lots of examples of crime bosses, murderers, and drug kingpins escaping from prison, but no instance

This may surprise you, but humans aren't computer programs. They generally come with individual consciences and can decide what is right and wrong. It is insulting (almost a Godwin's law violation) to compare murder with the &qu

I love the pseudo-ancient Greek diction. The phrasing, the vocabulary, and the abundance of nested clauses do really remind me of translations of Aristotle. The only way this could be better is if he replaced the references to modern thin

Everyone understands that the government and the criminal justice system is imperfect. We have them anyway, because the alternatives are worse. Sending an innocent man to jail for life is not fundamentally different from executing him. Y

I agree with this 100%. Student loan debt should not be treated specially. It should just be normal debt that you can discharge through bankruptcy. At that point, the incentives of schools and the incentives of students would be aligned.
