Regarding copy/pasting, I do agree. Not much of a point in reading if you're just going to do that. But, I was having a problem with exercise 4 and so copy/pasted it from the webpage (removed line numbers with TextMate's vertical selection

Looks very nice from the screenshots. I've been trying out a number of text editors since installing Lion and haven't found one I liked as much as TextMate, but want to as I expect TextMate 2 to never come out and for 1.5 to stop working wi

This is nice. I've stuck with Lion's default setting in order to see if I liked it more eventually and I do, except when I use another computer and try to scroll the same way. This at least addresses the issue for the other Mac in my home t

Apple sells versions of the Mac mini and Mac Pro as servers. They're also selling Lion Server as an add-on in the Mac App Store for other systems.

The Cloud Player Web and Android apps don't support FLAC, and the unlimited storage only applies to MP3 and AAC files. But you're able to store any kind of files in Cloud Drive if you just want access to them to copy to different computers.

I don't stream much with it on my phone. But it's great to be able to download the album(s) I want to the device without needing to connect to my computer. Also, can never have too many backup copies of my music.

Clarification, obvious: You only get unlimited MP3 (and AAC) storage with any paid Cloud Drive plan. You won't get it with the free 5GB plan. Of course, I think most people are probably on the 20GB plan since Amazon was giving those away

I like it more than Facebook, except none of my real-life friends are on it. Hopefully, Google will open it up soon. And not ruin it with games and other annoying applications.

I was surprised to see that Google+ doesn't have usable profile URLs like Twitter and Facebook, so this is great workaround for a nice simple URL to share. That long string of numbers does not look good.

They should. Could also do what Facebook (optionally) does: require you to send them a 4-digit code via your phone to allow access to any new unrecognized devices.

This seems to be a sensible idea. The long break in between shows causes me to turn the channel when one ends.

I've used the Google Voice form they used in their example long ago. It was legitimate and worked just fine. But I'm not surprised to see some people would use forms on Google Spreadsheets for phishing attacks. Seems ideal.

Yeah, I think he may be confusing "return policy" and "warranty". Just about all SSDs (at least from the major companies like OCZ, Corsair, Intel) will have a 3 year warranty from the manufacturer.

I think it's important to note that the Times had an intro offer of only 99 cents for the first month. Wonder how many will continue paying once they're charged $15 or $20.

One can get Skype 2.8 from Skype.com if you're worried about getting malware or problems from other sources as mentioned earlier. Took some digging. http://www.skype.com/intl/en/get-skype/on-your-computer/maco...
