That's because both Sean Connery and Maxwell have their birthplace as just "Edinburgh", and Connery's notability rank is 261, while Maxwell's is 683. So Connery is shown instead of Maxwell.

I'm not sure if it's possible to easily share the correct settings in an URL, but: In the Layers menu, set it to Satellite, Globe view, and turn off Labels. Then, zoom until the earth is ca. 1275 pixels wide

IIRC, it used to be --cached, and only recently has --staged been added as an alias, because staged makes more sense for users.

No, your own phone number. Say you're at home, you have a landline, and you don't know what your own phone number is. How do you get it? You call someone with caller ID, and ask them to tell you what number you called from.
