Non-lethal munitions can also be deadly. I could imagine drones delivering flash-bangs and the like to fleeing suspects, and all the associated risks.

Currently I'm revisiting some proteomics work I did as part of a DARPA project a while ago, as well as experiments with cinema ready geo-located media workflows. It helps with my day job too, indirectly.

I was looking at a six figure workstation last week, including GPUs. The goal is to replace 2-3 loud servers in my home lab with something more compact and quiet.

Is there an IPFS dedicated to training data? A mirror of input datasets and fully open models resident on HuggingFace could endeavor to cut out onerous license agreements when possible.

I think the key objective at Netflix is to manage downside risks while globalizing their content supply chain.

As an outsider with a professional interest in the language, it's hard (well, tiresome) to sift through the various committees and boards to identify the people who actually design and implement the language. Is there a concise roadmap

That's extremely good to know. I hadn't seen the officially supported Linux distributions, or your guide on Fedora. Thanks!

For earlier versions there was more commentary and information about Linux support. If we're comparing this with other consumer hardware, then it's just okay and I don't think it really stands out. When I upgrade my current F

Blue check on the app: probably 70/30 negative, with all the negative comments focusing on Yaccarino's official WEF involvement. Zero gender based or notably biolus comments, even after going back to try to scroll down into the

I'm charging it up and we'll see. It was fairly quiet for a while. I have a specific use in mind, leveraging on-device speech recognition. Ideally I'll be able to achieve parity with the iPad.

I held on for a long time, and still have a lot of lock-in to unwind. Switching costs are pretty high, even for individuals. I won't be putting all my chips on Apple either. I have a mix of file storage options, password managers, Linu

Funny, I just replaced my perfectly acceptable, but canceled and unsupported Pixel Slate (2018) tablet with an iPad Pro. No regrets.

I see a fair number of all SSD clusters, but most have a mix of drive types. Interestingly, the ratio of drive types is aligned with optimal performance rather than cost.

There's some purposeful friction with DD when it comes to OTel. Incumbents in this space are in for a rough time as more applications provide meaningful telemetry, beyond just logs. Fortunately for them that timeline is 'fuzzy

I had used an option like that, until about 6 months ago IIRC. It's gone now. However I've just found something under Settings - Accessibility that might mitigate the problem a little more. Extra dim: dim screen beyond your phone
