Declarative approaches (like answer set programming, or satisfiability modulo theories) revolve around expressing what the final result should look like, with no regard for how the result is achieved.

I've used `pdftocairo -svg` (it's part of the Poppler[0] utilities) to do this in the past, but Cairo insists on converting all of the text to shapes. (They are/were planning to fix that, so maybe it's already fixed.) Yo

Analog Devices has a filter wizard[0] on their site, which can help to create filters using their components. It might fit your needs, or at least give you some idea of what might be required. [0] http://www.analog.com/desig

You should just use dataset.values() (or itervalues if you're using Python 2) instead of iterating over the keys, and then looking them up.

It sounds like your company has bitten off more than it can chew. You didn't mention how you're doing money-wise. If you can afford it, perhaps you should stop taking new clients until you've finished your current projects, a

I'd love to be able to get a flame chart view (Like in Chrome's dev tools) of a profiling run. It looks like this project might be able to support that since it keeps the full stack trace.

You're not only being down-voted by Rubyists. For something that deals heavily with string manipulation and isn't speed-sensitive, C is most definitely not the best language to use.

I envisioned starting with an empty list, and populating it with the user's comparisons as they come in. That way, you don't have to deal with unrated items. Cyclical/conflicting comparisons are a function of faulty users, th

If I understand correctly, this sounds like an idea that I've been thinking about for a little while. Essentially, you do binary search-insertion into a list, where the comparison function is a prompt to the user asking "Is A bett

As an introverted engineer, I beg to differ. If you can't spend 10 minutes in a very directed conversation with a stranger who wants to use your product, that's an attitude problem, not a introversion/extroversion problem. In

If you pass verbose=True to namedtuple(), you can see that it's essentially just defining a new class. This is something that people already do at the top level of a module.

I haven't been able to determine when the content was last updated, but some of the comments on the site are ~8 months old, so it might be a bit out of date. That said, the basic concepts should be more-or-less unchanged.
