Macbook superior screen is the only reason i switched from thinkpad t-series. Everything you listed can be ignored or you get used to it. Not like macbook touchpad is without its own annoyances.

Yeah I just removed redis from my php app. It runs slightly slower but not enough that my user would notice. Redis was overkill

I really like being indoors with a comfy chair and a/c and not having to talk to humans. Seems to me that any career change would take me out if this comfort zone. I don't even want C level jobs because fuck meetings.
