True, I have posted info about my key remapper here a few times, https://github.com/rbreaves/kinto , but when I posted it it never really took off. Then some guy, nick something, posted it and the thing really took off.

Ehhh.. there are 3rd party tools free and commercial that fix the taskbar so it can go back to the sides if you want. Windows 11 really isn't that bad at all - although I'd rather they have simply fixed Dark Mode in Windows 10 tha

I think flipping it is better tbh. Making Linux my primary and putting Windows in the VM on a desktop. I love this setup so much more than WSL lol. I get to keep Windows and Linux more secure and separate from each other - but still can acc

Have you tried Ubuntu Budgie from http://ubuntubudgie.org ? (Could also use my sorun.me & kinto.sh script/apps if you want something sorta mac like too).

I agree with nitrogen. And why would I want the OS level copy/paste to conflict with my terminal commands? Zamalek I think you are not realizing how much worse of a UX that would be when the terminal wants to use Ctrl & the GUI app

Really? I’ve never seriously considered trying AHK in wine.. just kinda assume that won’t work lol. Am curious now how well that works via xrdp then as xkeysnail & other uinput methods don’t.

Yea, I am not surprised. I actually was trying to target Pop_OS! to use as a daily on a desktop of mine, but... I had issues with the installer due to it not liking a network ethernet device I believe. I did get past that, but then I had an

Really not a good idea to remap super for copy and paste though.. that is just a very surface level thing to do I think and recommend to any mac user transitioning to Linux and is why I built Kinto.sh so that hacks like "remap Super+c&

Could try my Sorun.me script.. built for Ubuntu Budgie and installs a lot of dev goodies (can be read in a basic yaml config file before installing) and yes consistent shortcuts from my meticulously built Kinto.sh app. https://gi

I have 1 reason. ConPTY - it simply works better on Windows 11. VSCode actually respects mouse support under 11 w/ POSIX compliant terminals - but not under 10. That is it, and for RDP but 10 did equally well with RDP, except for the C
