While I think this is really cool, and would have come in handy earlier in my life. Where I’m at now I don’t commonly install new OSes, and if I want to play with a new OS I’m more likely to do it in a VM. So the only time I really do a fr

Not sure why the downvotes for you. I just did this last week and expected to have to jump through a bunch of hoops and download some software that would burn a bootable image to a usb. Nope just format it as NTFS and copy paste the files

This is an awesome idea that I hope SRP adopts here in Phoenix. We have plenty of sun, and canals crisscross the whole valley.

I would assume he could retire now. He's been with Apple forever, he must have a ton of stock. I assume he's not depending on social security to fill any income gaps, and that the majority of his net-worth is likely outside of t

But also banks take on all the liability for misuse. Customers aren’t liable for fraudulent charges, that’s why America has lagged behind Europe on rolling out chip cards, customers don’t demand it because they don’t pay the price for card

The remedy for a violation is also in play. Private contract between two companies, cutting a 10 figure check makes it all better. Being wrong about AGPL, you have to release a lot of code that you really don't want to release, that

Pedometers have been a thing for quite some time. It was about 20 years ago when one of my parents bought a pedometer, it didn’t have an app, but it had an lcd display that told you how many steps you took.

The USPS is self supporting from postage. Your taxes aren't funding a "broken" business model. But they are funding a bunch of people trying to interfere with, and force the USPS out of business.

Or used a more believable scam? They took over coinbase’s Twitter. They could have announced some new trading system and to reserve your spot in the line for the beta deposit $100 worth of bitcoin to this address.

AWS has put out some very impressive ARM instances running on the Graviton2 processors. The reviews I read show better performance per dollar. So maybe the solution is to further embrace ARM and run your code on ARM servers?

These policies exist because we live in an imperfect system that does see race and actively favors whiteness. It’s the pinnacle of white privilege and ignorance to say that “I don’t see race.”

I'm fairly certain this was a joke about the debate going on regarding git and the broader development community trying to be more inclusive by changing the name of the default branch in git. Which is typically called master.

But why even build a native app even if it is easy? It adds no value, and is another thing to test. The web experience is fine for this.
