What this probably means: to use F-Droid on your phone, you will have to first go through the new unverified app flow

But it's not mandatory anymore because people can install it without it being verified.

1 day is not longish. That would greatly harm apps like F-Droid. You'd have to go through it every time you want to update your apps.

It's not being shut down though. The article says that there will be a way to install unverified apps.

Thanks for the article link. Nice quote from the article: > Unlike the Index controllers, Steam Frame Controllers don't have built-in hand grip straps. But Valve says it will sell them as an optional accessory for people who want th

It's tiny. It runs SteamOS which is built to be used with a controller on a TV. And it will probably be a performance target for many developers. But I think the biggest feature might be the quick suspend and resume. Every modern conso

I was worried about the built in computer as well, but then I found out it's only 185g. It is 78g more than the Bigscreen Beyond 2, but it's still pretty light.

I read the headline that way. As in Apple is doing it because there's a deadline ahead.

I'm pretty sure Bedrock Edition is far more popular if you take all platforms into account. But I agree Java Edition is not ending any time soon.

It's been dead already. There's datapacks but it's been pretty obvious they're not going to make an official modding API. I think they realised that the community modloaders are already really good. So instead they have

They already released deobfuscation mappings years ago. Modders already have a deep understanding of the Minecraft codebase.

I don't see that happening any time soon. Too many people at Mojang care about the Minecraft Java Edition community too much.

One puzzle per day was too much for me as well, but I just spent more than one day per puzzle. And now that the leaderboards are gone, there's no reason to you have to do them the same day.

Yeah that would be nice. Some native Linux versions actually have worse performance than Proton when they're done poorly. I got ~60fps on the Linux version of Silksong, but 400fps running the Windows version through Proton.
