What about externally hosted JS libs or ad/tracking scripts? Yes, you can do without all of them, but I don't think that's the case on most sites.

Thanks for your input. Asynchronous (or fully deferred) loading of ads is possible with current tech, but adoption is poor to nonexistent. Maybe AMP (in combination with preferred ranking treatment by Google) can change this, but I wish it

I still don't see the point. This could (and can) all be done without any additional/special markup or even JS. Also, kind of ironic (with regards to performance) that they mention upcoming support of major tracking scripts and ad

We do have those, but it does indeed depend on the resolution. These can do 25k fps at 1280x800 pixels (and 1 million fps at 128x32 pixels): http://www.visionresearch.com/Products/High-Speed-Cameras/UH...

Good point, didn't consider that. Although any good IDE/editor should catch the use of "undeclared" variables and functions.

I guess someone should develop an IDE/editor plugin that marks non-ASCII characters outside of string literals.

Those are mind-boggling numbers. Although I kind of doubt that "almost every" engineer has access to the entire repo, especially when it comes to the search ranking stuff.

Thanks for your input, makes sense. Why should the real bond value reduce over time, though? Sorry to answer your question with another question, but I don't really see a reason why they should. After all, isn't some degree of pre

Serious question: Why is (bond) interest not adjusted for inflation (or deflation for that matter)? Very long timespans such as these really devalue any interest payments, do they not?

I just re-ran the test and got an error rate of 1.23% (vs. 41.98%): https://pulse.turbobytes.com/results/55c88a0fecbe400bf800073... edit: S3 seems to be back up and running according to the AWS status page.

The next MacBook Pros should have Skylake processors in them. Might feature USB-C, too. Although the i7 might be exclusive to the 15-inch model.

Although true, wouldn't an efficient advertiser try not to pay for ads that target those "cheap people" anyway? Seems like they would be a waste of ad budget in any case.

You're forgetting about Google's huge display advertising network. Even if no one used Google search anymore, Google would still be making a lot of money through display ads.
