Seems pretty useful to me. If I see "new Object()", I know the code was written by someone who doesn't know JS very well, so I should look more carefully for bugs.

Deceptive headline. The stewards have virtually zero impact on English Wikipedia. They mainly help with administering the tiny foreign language projects that don't have a big enough community to run themselves, like Cornish Wikiquote.

That depends on the OP's implementation. Google, for instance, will return two different identifiers when the same user logs in to two different sites. Of course, in reality, both sites will request your email address, so they can figure it
