Vscode runs great on windows and Linux. MS has actually made the remote VScode option so you can click a button and suddenly you are running a WSL2 headless Ubuntu box in Windows. Could be just embrace extend extinguish though then everyone

Picked yup a 4k lg from costco last year for around $300-350. This is not a gaming monitor, but running KDE on Kubuntu 20.04 scaled at 150% is just fine. Ubuntu 20.04 is unusable due to buggy GPU/x/? though. Looks like that com

Healthy is a BMI in the normal range and following something close to the Harvard nutrition plate (USDA one is bought by big agriculture). Being able to afford a meal service or go to Whole Foods is also much harder when you live in a food

Had a 16” and sold it for the same reason. Maybe an arm MacBook would be good but also having a 64core threadripper and decent graphics and just remoting in seems better at the minute. You can also upgrade and fix things if they break.
