I'm still not understanding, is the issue that people don't want to give up their own screenshare, or call attendees have technical issues? I understand that video calls aren't as "natural" or intuitive as in-person

I think it's a mistake to assume this will always be the case. A decade ago, more than half my 40+ yo extended family was still only beginning to get exposed to the internet due to touchscreen phones and basic data plans becoming the d

Pilots and surgeons are following rules to avoid killing people. Make wasn't designed with any of that in mind. It was just one or a few people deciding the easiest path to code, or a style that they preferred. It turns out most people

If it were truly working well, I'd expect Musk's brand new company to HQ there.

More cynically, they think they've hit a wall and a projected GPT-5 won't be a huge or meaningful jump in performance, so they'd like everyone else to slow down too.

But does anyone actually win from this? Has someone behind C-18 run the numbers and found a way that this would increase revenue for Canadian media companies? I don't see how Meta and Google weren't completely predictable, and I

Hang on, the F-150 and Silverado started ballooning in the late 90s. The Hummer came, Nissan introduced their Titan truck in 2004, the Toyota Tundra got massive. All years before 2008. Regulations may have well prevented reversal, but the b
