I think the author could disregard all the fluff and simply have this title and accompanying section. Amusing read tho > The Web Was, Is, and Always Shall Be Polyglot

Yes yes yes. I have similar experience and sentiment. The youth today socialize too little. Fortunately, I've found success holding events/hangouts/hosting for both the kids and parents, sometimes separate and together. It&#x

Was looking for something along this subject. When Symbian died I thought it was really bad that development on it would die switching from open source. I think there is or will be a market for a simpler phone OS like Symbian. Surprisingly

Good points, I'd add since a lot of kids these days have technology in general and are incorporating in some schooling and such you can add a device for single-purpose use, i.e iPad for reading, watching, demo-ing, etc. with structured

I wouldn't say it displaced but rather emphasized the instantaneous part of IM (Instant Messaging). The portability and convenience with the innovation in social media combined pros of the AIM, personal e-mail, etc.

I agree that the article lacked structure. I'm curious do you still do research at your local libraries? As in physically go out to the library even if you're still using online/digital materials there.

Interesting read but this has happened before and is another case of technological innovation and lack of adaptability. I am a library enthusiast. I advocate for personal/private library of your own and public libraries of your communi

Are you sure about that? I've talked with librarians and stakeholders and it seems to be the opposite. There's no stable scaled infrastructure in place yet for books via lending internet/devices and print-on-demand and more.

A lot of libraries both public and private are failing at this. Unfortunately I've asked a few librarians and IT folks in the same libraries, the consensus seems to be that it does not make sense financially for the libraries. Yet. I h

+1, the deemphasis/degrading of average information density has been disappointing as user. Old site should be kept and used as their ideal demonstration for information-dense websites.

I'd say its far easier now than say 20yrs ago and also way cheaper tbh, I'm excited for the next decade because I think there's still innovating cheaper energy, cheaper storage, easier integrations, etc.

Thanks for sharing. A good read. I liked what Stripe is doing, it's clearly effective. With the mention of the Atlas team, it's good to see resources going towards there. It's a great product and I'm a satisfied user and

Cool, right? What the author listed out is exactly the type of diversity that existed before the current adaptation. It's a better sign to see this in a company with high performance like Stripe.

Very worrying to see this here. The fact that the population has resorted to using the government to create such a bill goes to show the problem is not being looked at in the right perspective. A silly solution to a serious problem
