Yeah, releasing binaries and listing them on brew/apt/etc would probably be very helpful for adoption. Next would be packages that wrap the rest api listed on npm, pypi, rubygems, etc.

Your description sounds cool, I just really wish the project's README told me what it does and how to use it instead of giving a 10-part story with no concise "and here's how the new solution works, all wrapped up!" summ

I'm not going to let anyone gaslight me. Features of a browser that aren't opt-in aren't definitionally malware. User agents, for example, or even cookies, are not malware by any reasonable definition of the term. They presen

Ah come on. The FLoC proposal has built in ways to turn it off. If you don't wanna be put in a cohort you can just configure your browser (even chrome) to say you don't have one.

Yeah, I'm not sure how well it'd work out but Upwork is likely worth a try. I'm not sure if fixed rate or hourly would work out better. It's important there, as anywhere, to approach interactions with humility.

Postgres-XL and Postgres-BDR are both multi-master. I don't think they're open-source.

It's a bummer that DBeaver can't just open a sqlite file and do the right thing. Anyone know an app that makes it easy to just "double-click" a sqlite file and get it pulled up in a convenient db GUI?

As you note in your article, Apollo's gql client has optimistic UI, but it looks like a pain. The Apollo cache seems to be powerful enough normalize the way you want, perhaps with some extra code: https://www.apollographql.c

Came here to say this. To expound a bit, you can use it as a highly pluggable/extensible express plugin which you can point at any postgres db and get all CRUD and other operations exposed in GraphQL, without writing any code. You can
