Using python for micro benchmarks usually doesnt work. The mere fact you use python says you dont care about performance, but convenience. Just for fun add "randomvariable = 1"(you know, 1 one cycle machine op) in a tight loop and

The trick here is Apple does NOT provide "repair parts, diagnostic and repair manuals" to their Authorized Certified repair shops. What they provide is a mail address and $17 per one mail in, all his while Apple charges $150-299.

You could make it work quite easily with 2 stage script. Load page, grep for channel name, whitelisted = set $wastemytimelikeitwasworth20centsperhour$=1 and force reload . Make ublock check for this variable every time it parses pages. but

This is a false proposition, watch this for a strong counter argument: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=17DeSVjIqUI tldr: whats better, one person donating $1 a month, or 100 people suffering thru 3 minutes of mindless ads?

Protip to people down voting: This wasnt a joke, chaining rnn behind cnn is precisely how you give neural networks context and short term memory.

You just need to chain RNN after CNN

Macbook Pro used to be for Power Users, not 'most users'. Power users do not drop $3K on a laptop to let it sit idle, they compile stuff, run multiple VMs, convert videos etc.

I feel that AMD forced that change in accidentally clever way by embedding itself in current generation of consoles. 8 anemic 1.6 GHz cores forced whole gaming industry to start taking multi threading seriously.

Because you currently ship systems with firewall that is unable to filter outbound traffic per application. DnsCache bypasses filtering by effectively providing tunnel between localhost and external network interface. Maybe you know of a wa

How about approaching this from the other end - reengineer windows filtering to allow control of localhost traffic.

One of the programs that does this is dnscache. It wouldnt be all that bad if localhost wasnt the actual named pipe instead of virtual network interface :( - you cant filter localhost traffic with a firewall in windows. This means everythin

This depends entirely on hardware. You can run good emulation of 8 bit computers (spectrum, c64, cpc) at ~hundreds to thousands the original speed using emulators written in C. Using emulator that barely reaches x10 factor as a performance

afaik CPC video is very basic, pretty much a raw MC6845 crtc. No sprites, no blitters, no dma. What is giving you so much problems performance wise?

Wait. You emulate 3.5MHz machine on 2.8GHz Core i5, reach 10 the speed of original (1.3 to 1.5 ms 'emulator time' per 16.6ms) and therefore proclaim success? :o
