Exactly my point. There was no 'dns is slow but finally works now' moment, there was total dns blackout until attack stopped.

Yes, if only there was something like a 27" iMac 5K, maybe fully loaded still $500 cheaper than this MS thing.

How exactly was the attack mitigated when in the same sentence they confess it STOPPED _on its own_.

They had a chance of starting a new trend by renaming CapsLock to Escape :/

plenty of games use ESC in input options as an exit out of selection. "Press key to bind or ESC to cancel", with your solution I would end up with unwanted CTRL binds

by rasz_pl 10y ago
how about Escape?

How exactly? There are plentiful examples of people burning alive in gasoline fire explosion, yet LPG ones merely manage to burn hair.

>a human (at Google) could override you cant be serious, google is not paying 200K for developers to play with individual cases of consumer/dev support. You cant even get Human support from google when you make >$100K a month in

Dont count on laptops, Intel treats ECC as one of the market segmentation features. AMD on the other hand supports ECC on everything, even the lowest budget cpu models.

The attack was not mitigated _at all_, attacker simply stopped. This post mortem is a big fat lie.

not impressed with Merge Conflict Editor, would be a lot better as visual diff with two versions next to each other (ala meld), not to mention arrow buttons to quickly pick version without touching text.
