In terms of Flexbox, this guide in the React Native documentation is BY FAR the best guide I've seen anywhere. It tells you just the right amount of things you need to know to be productive. https://reactnative.dev/docs

Do you think the value that we all attribute to gold is not a figment of our collective beliefs? If not, where do you think it derives its value from?

Yes, you have a point. I think there’s no fundamental limitation today why everything can’t be indexed. There’s definitely some overhead to updating the indices on every insert of course, but that’s probably a relatively fixed ~O(1) cost in

No it's not ok. But the people who didn't add indices maybe even had all the basic training on DS and algos. But they were simply either incompetent or more likely simply careless and didn't give a sh_t. Because adding indice

Not an expert on Iron Maiden (I do enjoy various metal/heavy rock) but just a casual read through Wikipedia doesn't scream "music theory as the cornerstone of their success". A forced analogy that I think does not really

Yes, I've been using DataScript (which uses this flavor of Datalog) to store and query the data locally in my iOS app in the last few months. DataScript works well but you need to know how to use it. Benchmarks would entirely depend on

I've done and ran 2 medium sized apps on both iOS and Android and have never ran into such problems. While not impossible, that's akin to saying that if you run the JVM on MacOS vs Linux, there's a chance of different behavio

RN used to have a lot of issues years ago (~2015-2016 or so) with different layout rendering between iOS and Android. Since they re-wrote their layout engine to be the same codebase across Android and iOS this has been 99% fixed in my exper

The Coinbase iOS app looks nice and the attention to detail looks to be at a good level. It's a nice surprise that it's written in React Native. Well done to their team!

Right on point. I have done a lot of React Native but never tried to mix native + React Native (with the exception of the occasional native feature in a mostly RN project). Mixing an old native project with RN, doing a so called "slow
