Depends on what you're hauling also. I'm not interested in doing my regular trash or recycling runs with a minivan, for example, but most of what I do haul would be fine with a minivan.

Depending on laws in the area, one could have a tank and pump at home, refilled regularly with potentially lower bulk pricing. It's a thing but pretty rare outside of farms in my experience.

From what I understand, my phone's 4G won't work with lineage os and either of the two cell providers that have reception in my area so it's basically unusable for me. I would like to use it but I effectively can't.

I disagree with that as a hard rule and with the opinion that it's an anti-pattern. Reproducible containers are fine, but not always necessary. There's enough times when I do want to run apt-get in a container and don't care
