Yup that's what I meant. Great! I would set the default to 5 minutes and allow up to maybe 30m.

Can you track how long since the last unlock? I think adding a TTL of say 5 minutes to not be asked again after answering would probably eliminate the majority of annoyances.

Don’t worry, that’s why we’re launching AI4HumanLayer.ai.io. Tired of those pesky review requests? Can’t be bothered to read an email let alone a complicated AI approval context? Want to improve your response time by 500% while displaying t

There are problems it does solve though. It’s incomprehensible that we get so many new package managers that fail to learn from the bajillion that came before.

IMO rails is a victim of it's own success. By being incredibly productive and easy to get things up and running, you don't have to reason about your data design as much, meaning you are more likely (not guaranteed) to throw togeth

It depends where you're coming from. Some (many now?) see Dick Cheney as a progressive liberal liar, and many on the left see him as a right-wing devil incarnate.

Bad analogy. In the company name case, there’s a registry (list) with a gatekeeper (filter) in front of it rejecting very simple inputs (small strings) that don’t conform to their standards. You literally can’t get your company name on this

So to summarize, someone saw the Google Grants program, figured out how to abuse it and scaled it up. I wouldn't even call this much of a loop hole because it seems so obvious. How widespread / prevalent is this? Does Google care?

The fact that so many people were impacted by left-pad leads me to believe that people aren't using libraries because a problem is pretty hard, but rather because they don't even want to think about the problem that a library supp

Not sure about this. Most JS frameworks only last a few years before the next shiny is mass adopted. The churn in JS land is insane. React is definitely one of the long beards though, and thats’s because declarative programming is a win for
