I'd certainly contribute a few rules for German prose. Actually, I'm even more interested in using proselint with custom rules for theater plays (e.g., check for unneccessary repetitions, word combinations that are (acoustically)

Are there any plans to support rules for texts written in other languages (e.g., German)? Would a set of such rules fit within the scope of this project or is proselint purposely or inherently limited to English prose? (@suchow)

Given that Gage Skidmore owns all rights to the photos, and that Priceonomics apparently had contacted him for this article, it seems quite plausible that Gage allowed the photos to be used outside the CC license. Furthermore, one might arg

The problem is that FTDI ist taking it out on the customer, and hoping that "the FTDI driver bricked my board" somehow gets those customers to (1) realize that the problem is a counterfeit chip, (2) work their way up the supply ch

From a first glance, it is not yet clear to me how far this project actually is and what its goal is. Could you give a short introduction (or point to an introductory blog post)?

FWIW, as a researcher at a university, it is only my decision whether I apply for a patent or not. In contrast, patenting inventions is an inherent part of the research workflow at research labs such as MSR, Yahoo Research, etc.
