Is this really secure? Isn't there a big risk to ease signature forging?

I once started developing such a tool, but abandoned it when I understood the web browser is not a safe environment. You can't trust the javascript you execute: http://www.matasano.com/articles/javascript-cryptography/ For another example

I've kept an eye on felix-lang the last several months, and the project seems to be progressing continuously. I'm curious though: has it been used in production? I'd be very interested in reading real use stories, with up and down sides!

I went back to university and had to work less as a consequence. I'm very happy of my decision. Of course, my earnings took a serious hit, and that's probably the biggest reason only few people do work less. But I consider it was worth it!

I went to their homepage, but I don't see a link there to a description of the project (something like an 'About' page describing the project and its goals)....

The thing is, this event is usually uncommon, whereas in this architecture it is quite common.

There's a fallback according to the capabilities of the UA. For example I still can view the content of their website, which is a Wt app, with lynx. You can also do a wget and see what content you get.

Wt is also a framework enabling you to develop web applications without the need to manage client-server communications. It's available as a C++ version and a java version ( http://www.webtoolkit.eu/jwt ) usable with any JVM language (ie

We're considering entering the wedding business with an app. Would your wife consider telling us what she thinks of it? If yes, let me know (see my profile for email), it would be great!

Actually, he does not live without time, as he looks at the sun to know the time of the day and know if he's done working for the day. He might live without a clock, but then I think the clock is a human technology that has to be mastered,

There was a post not so long ago on HN about prices of logos. I wonder how much they paid for this one (I hope not too much because I feel I could have done it: select a font, write ebay, color letters with colors of old logo).

Very good initiative, but giving an epub option would have been even better.

Fixed headers also break the pagedown behaviour: when you press the page down key, you miss some lines that are hidden below the fixed headers. (If we mean the same thing by fixed headers)

I find the layout awful for a print version. And the PDF document has chapter links that lead to the website, rather than the page in the PDF. I can live with that if I generate a PDF from web content, but I'd expect a book to have a better

This is no rocket science, I've implemented it years ago on an EC2 cloud managed with Scalarium. I'd expect any self respecting sysadmin to come up with such a solution.

The article mentions that employees visiting Facebook from inside use an experimental build. Any idea how they manage this if the experimental build requires changes in the data structures used by the site?

It is not similar to GWT: GWT is client side only, with Wt you develop one code-base all in one language (C++ or a JVM language) that handles transparently server side and client side operations, including communication between both sides.
