In the UK, bank accounts rarely cost anything and debit cards come for free as standard. Banks are still profitable. I would hazard a guess that most banks in fact make most of their money through lending your funds to other people.

USB4 is the specification for the cable, USB-C is the connector at the end. We'll presumably start to see USB4 cables with USB-C connectors to replace the current 'best' USB3 cables with USB-C connectors.
