What problems did you have with EU banks? The only problem I have with mine is that it doesn't connect with open banking APIs, but I just default to revolut for that. It could be that they treated you poorly because you are from the US

It does mot support display output via USB C, and I'm guessing Ethernet will also be very limited because the usb is 2.0, which is very sad to see on a Linux phone.
