This seems useful. Is there anything like this for nodejs? By the way, the logo on top of the README is not working.

I've found https://healthchecks.io/ great for my use, and it has quite friendly pricing for non-profit hobby projects.

I generally use only a single node version, and therefore don't use the nvm command much, so I've solved the slow shell init by not loading nvm at all, and instead, just set the PATH. export PATH=~/.nvm/versions&#x

I ran the curl ... | kubectl command on my cluster. What would be the reason that promtail is not tailing log files for all of the running pods?

If you're into JavaScript (or LiveScript) or functional programming, you might find ramda-cli[1] more palatable. Disclaimer: I've created it. [1]: https://github.com/raine/ramda-cli

For zsh, zaw[1]'s history is insanely useful. I don't really think a neural network is needed. Usually I get to the exact line I wanted with a few keystrokes. [1]: https://github.com/zsh-users/zaw

In TypeScript you could also pass `any` as argument to such function and the compiler would be happy. Of course the noImplicitAny flag helps here, but sometimes you could get `any` from a library with poorly written types as well.

I would add Barbell Medicine to your list of youtube channels. They also have a podcast and produce lots of useful content.

Thanks for the recommendation. I'll give this one a go for sure. The use case is a non-profit hobby project so I'm trying to keep the costs low.

With ramda-cli, the jq example would be: npm outdated --json | ramda --raw-output 'map (.latest)' to-pairs 'map join "@"'

Running a weechat client on a ipv6, nat ipv4 VPS that costs me 3€/year. With weechat you also get a responsive web client for free through glowing-bear.org, so it's quite close to IRCCloud in the end.

It's not so much that you need 60 FPS, but in my use GPU rendering makes editing in vim much more responsive. It basically brings terminal vim on a par with MacVim in rendering speed.

zaw's[1] history widget on Ctrl-R is so much better than the regular backward history search that it's difficult to imagine using a shell without it anymore. 1: https://github.com/zsh-users/zaw
