My plan is to keep everything free and work on value generating features that will focus on organization and consumption. Think of it this way, most features we have so far are just making it easy to capture, which is just step one. The use

I just did an export while trying to create an importer to my app DoubleMemory. Pocket actually does export tags. It’s probably a miscommunication. Here is what the raw csv look like if you check my tool example: https://doublem

That's indeed the bane of this category of apps. You save it but don't ever go back. Yet we all intuitively want to use it as we can never allocate the right mental space at the right time. Our brain usually are in the browsing mo

That's how it inspired me to create this app really. I often do this to important text subconsciously so one day I asked what if i can automatically save that... It feels intuitive and avoids the extensions. With that said, you can dis

You are right. The architecture is just creating burdens and frictions to sustain the business if mostly relies on freemium user expansion. This is especially attractive to VC backed companies as they sometimes are judged by their growth wh

Wow, after Instapaper went back to indie from Pinterest[1] and Omnivore closing last year this is no longer surprising. This is also proof that read-it-later app as a category is not sustainable as a venture / company backed service. T

Controversial opinion: it's not about the generator of the content, human or not, but about the originality of the content itself. Human with the help of AI will generate more good quality as a result. Humans are just as good as bots i

Amazfit and Xiaomi is now dominating this market with its superior riscv based architecture and 2x longer battery time and 2x less cost. I don’t really know how pebble can compete now given when it was acquired it was already going downhill

I haven’t tried ghost. But it needs to be hosted and can’t be static and served from github or netlify tho? The only features I need for editing can all be satisfied by vs code or markdown editors better so I don’t really need a CMS system

Thanks for the suggestions! Appreciate these honest feedback. May I ask what's your window width? Are you using the full width on an external display?

I’d just recommend a private telegram or slack group. This is offline only with no tracking of user profiles etc.
