Why settle for one if you can have both? I think the smell of freshly baked bread is from another world but the satisfaction during consumption for me is on the coffee side of things.

Interesting. I only use one dongle for a roccat mouse with it and it never stopped working or was lagging. When I touch it I can notice that it’s warm but it’s nothing too crazy. Currently there is no power cable attached so it might get wa

This surely helps, even if only the end that goes to the charger is USB C and you have a „multi connector dongle thing“ with you that extends the functionality of the USB C port to the other things you might need (lightning, micro usb, …).

Not OP but I‘m using one by Anker that also has a SD card slot and two USB-C type ports with Power Delivery so I can hook up my MacBook to the power outlet and load stuff off of it at the same time if there is no other possibility. I don’t

It’s crazy because among friends I’m the only one working with geodata (remote sensing, too) and the last few days I keep stumbling upon people who already do some work in the same area and are probably much more advanced than I am. Good lu

I can think of two things. Large time series data for large areas with a lot of attributes like temperature or other atmospheric data or a huge amount of point clouds or comparable 3D Data.

So can I "simply" go ahead and use this for my own projects, too? The documentation makes it seem like that but I have zero experience with front end development so I'm not sure what to make out of it. /Edit: sorry, just

I’m not sure but I’m using Outlook on iOS and it’s been better than the regular mail app in my opinion. No idea about security and privacy though, after all I’m introducing another developer into my mails which can’t be too good I guess.

I would love to know more about the possibilities of Remote Sensing in the private industry. I‘m working in academia and have the feeling that I’m in an echo chamber all day every day and no insights at all. Any chance I can contact you or

Thank you for taking your time to answer. Apparently you're talented and hard working to be able to work for a compensation like that and companies like Amazon and Microsoft - isn't there any leverage to get better conditions rega

Sorry for asking so directly but since I don’t have any idea how „work“ works in other places, does 10 days mean that you have 10 days of total vacation days per year? Or is it 10+7(+6)? If it’s 10 days/year, is it normal in the US?

In my experience bad code isn’t written for the sake of being bad. A lot of companies don’t value IT and software they work with almost daily as much as they should. The idea is that if they click a button and it works, it works. Next proje

We live in a world where everyone and their dog (sometimes literally) fights for your attention. If you are trying to advertise something comparable to a blog or magazine creation software, add a screenshot on what to expect at least.

I do that the old fashioned way with a catchall mail address and forward them. If they start smelling weird, I filter the address and change the mail address with the service provider.

Today I’ve learned! I knew about the export function but not that you could export the entire workspace. I’ll take a look into that. I’m currently 50/50 between Notion and Obsidian, however a blog post regarding obsidian plugins makes

You might write your own Pipeline where you forward a mail, scrape the content and e.g. save it to a Markdown or plain text file to open it with your text editor of choice. I don’t know of any piece of software unfortunately.

What bugs me more than Notion not being open source is that the notes are nowhere on my device apparently but on their servers. I don’t have anything locally. If something happens to Notion or I don’t have access to the web, I’m done?

You might take a look at Obsidian. For me it’s the best of two (or how many you like) worlds. You can sync your files via git or a cloud service of your liking. What bugs me is that it’s not open source but what makes it great is a lot of o

If I’d only use one window/instance of each app, I wouldn’t mind. Since cmd+tab isn’t showing each instance without clicking up-arrow again when on the item, I prefer Mission Control.
