I've tried to use TiddleWiki, and while it's an impressive piece of software, it suffers from the same issue many other community-run open source software does: it's ugly, and hard to use. Yeah, I get it, there are themes and

How nice of you to call my real life experiences, and the experiences of the 10 million people rubbish. You never once mentioned the UK in your initial comment, just socialism. Yeah, we have different things here than in the UK, that does n

But why would they? If they had to pay warehouse workers twice as much, what makes you think they wouldn't try to automate away even more jobs? Companies rarely exist to give employees more money; their goal is to increase the wealth o

What's so WTF about suggesting that a software protocol, that would be widely beneficial in most of the world, should have English documentation? English is the closest thing we have to a common human language.

I'm not saying that the quote make sense in this context, because frankly it doesn't. But the personal views of whoever said it should not matter when evaluating it's validity.

As much as I like Anki, it's as usable and nice-looking as it is expensive. So shortly, it isn't either. It's only natural that most people gravitate towards easier to use and nicer looking software.
