Genuinely curious to understand your line of reasoning. - Concretly what's the late-stage capitalism nightmare? How do you define it and what do you compare it against? - What do you define what PG is concretely telling kids and how th

One concern is that measures, out of the box, have issues in 3+ dimensions. Concretely due to paradoxes such as Banach-Tarski, that arise from the Zermelo Fraenkel (ZF) + Axiom of Choice (AC) = ZFC axiomatic formulation for set theory. Sinc

Thank you! Quick feedback - lmsys will introduce bias because it lacks rendering support for things like [ x_2 = \frac{1}{2} \left( 1.5 + \frac{2}{1.5} \right) = \frac{1}{2} \left( 1.5 + \frac{4}{3} \right) = \frac{1}{2} \left( \frac{9}{6}

I'm curious about how the benchmark is done. I suspect it can be improved in order to represent user's / usability expectations. I gave Bard a go, after seeing Jeff Dean's tweet. It's just as frustrating as it was,

If you seek elightment, you seek truth. Look down towards foundations like physics, mathematics, logic and look back towards the past. It' smaybe check out the Computer History Museum. Read Feynman's (or about) books. "Surely

When it initially came out I thought it's amazing. The idea of immersive computing actually is, more than amazing, natural. And I think we're actually on the path towards that, maybe just not through Dynamicland directly. It seems

Three charts are a rant, not a study, and slim to even point anything, let alone draw any conclusion.

So approximately a SQL standard (aggregation "tree-climb") combined with a non-standard (LIMIT) which prevents an error yield an unexpected behavior.

Amdahl's Law applies cleanly to human processes. Perhaps the most revealing example is the origin of "computer" as a human occupation and how scaling the compute process happened at Los Alamos https://ahf.nuclearm

Are the theories beyond axiom fundamentally different if axioms are changed, though? And if not, aren't then axioms merely props or placeholders for invariants?

I think (neo)vim has many years ahead, but also think the market overlaps with vscode. I believe that, for the average users, defaults, including a default plugin marketplace makes most of the difference. It would be interesting to see som

I have a similar line of thinking. However I think it applies generally and that any "broker" (e.g. Amazon) that is not explicitely on your side will be in conflict of interest. The implications are actually deep and wide.

You seem to make an assumption that the models will only land producers, and not consumers. Why? Asymmetrical compute power? The difference will likely be in size (amount of facts compressed) not capability / ability to detect bullshit

I'd replace "years" with "months". Perhaps the quality of the model can be independent of its content. Either by training or by pruning.
